Meet Tobi Byrd, Certified Nurse Midwife

Tobi Byrd is a lifelong resident of Suffolk. She was awarded a Masters of Science with a concentration in Midwifery from Philadelphia University in Pennsylvania. She worked as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Specialists For Women before becoming a midwife. Tobi received her Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from Planned Parenthood Federation of America Nurse Practitioner Program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to entering private practice as a Nurse Practitioner, Tobi worked as a Registered Nurse at Obici Hospital.

Tobi is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, and the American College of Nurse Midwives.
